Do I need a harness for backup cam?

    Weather techs, OEM bed mat.
    I have a harness at the back of the bed with the wires going into the tailgate. I also have wires around the frame. It's a '15 prerunner, Dcsb.

    If there are 4 wires instead of 2 in that harness (I can't tell from the pic) then you are pre wired. I bought the camera from camera source and it works great on my 2015. It was easy to install. Also, your entune screen should give the warning... It includes the camera.

    I do get a warning on the screen about the camera when I start the truck but it's dark out now and I can't really tell how many wires are in that harness. I have a tow package (lol) so I wasn't sure if I was even looking at the correct harness. I'll take a look tomorrow when I have some light.

    I have 4 going into and out the harness, a black, red, white, and blue from what I can see... looks like im prewired!

    That looks prewired to me. To be sure take the plastic off the tailgate. If prewired it will plug into a blank on the tailgate handle. Takes 5 min to check. Just be careful not to strip the threads.
