Would you be happy with this beam on your HID headlights?

That would drive me insane. That's pretty far off. You bought the LHD (Left Hand Drive) version correct? What I would try is taking the connection off the bulb that you have to twist on once they are in the truck. Take that off, and try to rotate them by hand back to level. With the h4 alignment ring that comes with the kit installed, it shouldn't moved much, but I had to do that to mine to get them to sit level. Did you modify that at all when you installed them?

Wait are you sure you labeled your pictures right? The last one I can see two cut offs

I bought these prebuilt, I'm not really familiar with your questions and suggestions.

I can control vertical and horizontal, but rotational to my knowledge is done during assembly and cannot be corrected without complete dismantle?

Normally yes, but I would try and rotate it by hand before you get it disassembled. You'll realize what I'm talking about once you get in there and see it

I'll look at it tomorrow evening, but that drivers side has a lot of rotation compared to horizontally level, going to take a lot. I drove it around the block and it was hitting high enough to blind people in trucks on parked vehicles. No way I can drive it like that after dark.

I don't know how your projector is held in the actual housing. but with mine, I have an alignment washer and then a locking nut after it. You should be able to loosen that locking nut enough to rotate the entire projector.. I think

And that cut-off would drive me absolutely crazy

Appreciate the responses everyone, hopefully there will be some adjustment in it.

I'll update and may have questions with pictures tomorrow evening. This is my first experience with projectors, so it's a bit foreign and why I had someone else do the build.

Depending on the method of installation it may be able to fixed on site--chances are it can be. If you snap a picture of the rear of the projector I can confirm which projector was used.

Alologies if these aren't that great. Hopefully they are useful. Had to use forward facing cam upside down. Not a lot of room without removing them.

Hope they help, I'll try to get some better ones.

You have the alignment ring in there. What you might have to do is take the bulb holder out, take the nut off and see if the ring is in the right place. There should be a tab under one of the prongs of that washer with the three prongs in it. That tab that's under one of those prongs should line up the part of the back of the projector where it isn't threaded. That part should be facing the TOP of your headlight. I have heard of some people having to trim this tab off, which would allow you to completely rotate the projector so you would have to align it rotationally yourself. I don't know what else would cause your issue here beside faulty projectors (not common at all) but to do this you will have to take your headlights apart yourself. It's not as bad as it sounds

Is the top of your headlight pointing in the direction of the red arrow?

When you say take them apart, are you talking about cracking the casing apart?

Yeah. If you take that nut off there won't be anything else holding on the projectors so you will have to get at it from the front which means taking the lens off. You may possibly be able to loosen it while it's in the truck and hold on to the threading with your fingers but it probably won't be easy. If you try that way just don't take the nut all the way off

I'm just going to contact the seller, I paid a good price to have them built not tossed together for me to finish at home. I paid a labor price for the headlights, i feel if I should have to do the labor again I should be reimbursed as well.

I can understand needing to adjust the beam height and angle, but rotation should have been done and tested at assembly.

I appreciate the help, see what he has to say now.

That's what I would do. Because it is odd for them to be off that much. Did someone on here sell them to you? Were they used or they built them for you?

Yes, and they were built to order. I specifically requested if they had any images of the beam output on the ones they had built previously but was told no. When i showed these images, I was told that's how the last ones turned out. I said it didn't matter, they were both wrong in that case.

I believe we have reached a reasonable resolution.

Thank you all for the help and I may need some help when it comes time to disassemble these.
