    Back to the JBA UCA discussion from a few days ago................. Whoever else it was that was considering these take a look at the "New product JBA upper control arms" thread on page 8. A member reported and provided pics that at full stuff the UCA contacts the shock bucket. It bent some parts. I'll let you read about it. It might save you some trouble.

    I saw that. I think I'm going to just go LR. The new design seems to be holding up a whole lot better.

    You're only two choices for a ball joint are LR or Camburg for the most part. I think we're in the same boat. I change my plan about 4 times a day.

    Or you could get in on that All-pro group buy. If they hit the number they need they'll be going for $519 shipped I believe.

    Yep, or a third option being the HD JBAs. the afformentioned member said the owner replaced his with the HD version. I wonder if mentioning the problem could get them to come off the price on the HDs? Probably not. It'll probably be after the group buy closes when I'm ready to purchase. Around and around I go.....

    This is my problem too. As for the HD version, unless he knocks the price down by almost $200 then I would go with the Camburgs. They actually look like a well made product.

    As Adam said, Light Racing makes a fine product. I prefer camburgs over LR because of the simplicity of assembly and alignment adjustments. As for uniball ucas, Camburg and All pro use a 1.25" fk stainless steel uniball (you want stainless so they won't rust) while Icon, Desert Racing, Total Chaos, Dirt King and Built Right use a 1" fk stainless steel uniball. Advantage of 1.25" is mainly strength. Theoretically there should be more range of motion in them as well but some of that is arm and cup design and it's very minimal anyway. All the arms I mentioned I like. Even the Pro Comp arms look good and also use fk ss uniballs. Ideally, an arm with 3-4° built in caster, fk ss uniballs and a similar design to all the above mentioned arms, is what you want

    Also I got paid so the Konigs are going on today. Not going to mount the 5th though because I dont have an extra 265/75/16 but I figure I'm going to 285's or 255's in the next 6 months anyways and I'll find an extra one of those then.
