    Guys,

As we were driving back from the grocery store last night, my wife tells me she wants to buy me something "practical" for the Taco for my birthday!

Practical??? I say how about a light bar and a snorkel?

She says, no something like a cover for the bed to keep things clean and dry when we drive up and down East coast (family in CT and SC), or heated seats (moving to NJ this winter) or something else that is more of a NEED than a WANT.

I tell her that both those are going to be expensive, she says "I'm rich" LOL

So all this background story for this:

I am looking for recommendations and input. I will be doing research both online and locally and would love the knowledge of TW members. Help me get a quality product under the 1K price range. One that will last a long time, look great, and perform!

    -Heated seat options?
    -Tonneau cover options?
    -Something else?

I am considering Wet Okoles. how are they wired up? I don't want to plug them into the cig lighter.

    I'll google bestop/softopper

If you got the coin check out the bakflip revolver X2 Tonneau Cover. Sweet rolling soft/hard top.

I went budget and got the Access Limited. Good bang for the buck, and you might check this one out considering you are moving to one of the highest taxed states in the country!

I always get that, but yes. Also will be moving up to NJ this winter and will need them there more than here in VA.

I think you'll get more use out of a tonneau cover. I'm originally from NJ. Heated seats are nice, but you won't use them all that much. Where are you moving to in NJ?

I love heated seats. When I was stationed in Monterey, CA I would roll with sunroof and windows down and heated seats on almost year round. I just like the heat on my lower back

So far I am leaning towards:

    - IBHS3- Dual carbon fiber seat heater kit with multi-position temperature illuminated switch

    or

    -BAK Roll-X Tonneau Cover (P/N: 36407)

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Yan, you can get the WO's with heated seat option. You do not have to plug them in to your cigarette lighter if you follow some of the write-ups on here. Some people have them hard wired in. I'll search for the write-ups for you if you want.

Tonneau cover... trust me... living up in Mass I had to shovel out my bed a few times after a snow storm.. No need to with a tonneau cover..

so would you recommend something like a Bakflip G2? I am concerned about roll up ones with the weight of snow.

The problem with the hard covers is you have to find a place to store it, or remove it if you want to haul something large. That is why most people would recommend a soft cover. I had a roll up and I loved it. It didn't have a problem with the snow/ice of Wichita, and the snow storm I had here when I first moved here. But, you could look into the in between. TruXedo Deuce 2, the Bak RollBAK G2, and the retraxOne.

extang trifecta... 10-15 minute install time.. goes right on the bed rails and is like 99.9% waterproof as long as installed correctly.. had mine for 4 years.. no complaints..
