Anyone into R/C?

Yup! I have a Traxxas Rustler that I have had for 15 years now and still play with it from time to time. Just bought my 11 year old her first one, Traxxas Bandit. She is hooked already so it looks like I will be getting more with upgrades very soon.

Lol yeah this was only the second sedan body I have ever painted. I painted one for myself a couple years ago and it was not very good lol

did you paint the wing to match?

 

Thanks! No i didnt. 1. I didnt ask the guy if he wanted it paint matched. lol and 2. i dont usually paint wings since they're more likely to be ruined in crashes since thats what hits the floor first.

 

bah, it's a car! they never flip

when I have to replace the body on my car, I'm keeping the wing. it's ABS, so there's no paint to scrape off and it's nice and strong.

 

Lol yeah the touring car wings are lexan so they're more disposable. And i've seen some pretty nasty crashes with touring cars haha.

 

getting the rc bug again. i think a buddy is going to sell me a b5m for a deal so hopefully ill be back racing again. also got a slash vxl 4x4 to bash around the house but stripped a CV in the first battery back on a 3s

 

I have a ARTR Team Durango DEX410V3 for sale. There isn't anything wrong with it. I currently don't have time to hit the track so its been sitting in my closet.
*The buggy is loaded with upgrades & spares. It has tons of new in package spare parts & 2 sets of clay tires. As of now I won't be parting it out. The only thing you need is a remote, charger & you're ready to go.

Nice work mjbtaco. I just stumbled across this thread. I was real big into 1/8 racing a few years ago but got tired of all the traveling. Just picked up an Axial SCX10 to mess around with in the backyard though, so I'll be hitting this thread a lot more .

anyone planning on racing the surf city classic at ocrc? i think a friend and I are going to head down and race that weekend.

 

What classes will you be racing? I probably won't be racing but I might stop by.
