Ok I have a 2015 Tacoma TRD with a 2.5 lift in the front and 1.25 in the rear. I purchased the spiderdex 1.25 spacers to go with with the FJ TRD 17" wheels and get 285/70/17 or keep stock wheels and get 265/75/16 open country R/T tires. With the options I just said will I have any issues whatever way I go. If so what do I have to do to correct any issues?

You will more than likely have to trim if you go the 285 route. Each setup is so unique it's kind of tough to know exactly how much trimming would be required...but if you're planning on wheeling hard you'll probably want the 265s. You planning on going hard or is she a pavement princess?

Maybe somebody on here has one of those setups and will know a bit more. I have 285/75/16 duratracs on a 3" lift and had to trim quite a bit. Different wheel setup though...

She is a pavement princess and beach bunnie. I don't really want to trim so maybe 265/75 is the way to go.

Before I put on my 285s I had 265/70/16 hankook ATMs and I was almost always over 20 mpgs, now I'm at about 17. If you don't want to trim definitely don't get 285s...you will either have to live with rubbing or trim.

I am thinking on getting Fj TRD wheels and going 265/70/17. Black rims with the general grabbers with the red writing on it will look cool
