    hey all,
just a quick question for installed led bed lights. Basically have the blue sea block in the engine bay and i want to put a switch for the light in the bed. Do i HAVE to run both a power and ground from the bluesea block to the back of the bed or can i just run a power wire from the block and ground it somewhere local to the switch in the back of the bed? would this bypass the whole fuse function of the bluesea block?

You can ground it anywhere. You are still using the function of the fuse holder. Make sure you have a relay in there.

even fused what would it be bad with no relay? I'm just wiring 2 led strips to the bed. I wasn't going to use a relay, but i guess i should now?

you should always use a relay. I dont know the output of the lights but the relay is cheap insurance to make sure nothing happens down the road.

Thanks ze, Having trouble wiring the switch with the relay. the 12v terminals on the switch and lead can those both come from the fused battery source? (same power wire split?) I guess i'm having trouble wiring up the actual 3 terminals on my toggle switch. Most of the google pics say the ACessory terminal of the toggle can goto 85 and then ground with 86? and then my led lights attached to 87. So then do I just run a fused battery line to 30 on the relay and 12v of of the toggle? Thanks guys...hopefully will get it right

I have a few options for the pre-wired RTMR box. Options include mounting plate, 4 ft lead cable for 5 illuminated switches including 1 power and/or 1 ground all in one cable.(can be longer if needed)
PM me with the length of the switch lead if needed and if you need the mounting plate as well.

    Thanks!
