Requisite new guy post... In mid April I bought a new double cab short box TRD Sport Tacoma. Manual. White. I hate white trucks. I'm thinking about spray painting it already. Picture...

First night, when I brought it home.

The next day. Didn't take long.

And first day of abuse. Extremely impressed by how well the street tires and TRAC did in 2wd around a motocross track.

Now it's time to throw an AllPro catalog at it.

Not sure why you hate the white, superwhite is one of the most desired colors. Congrats and welcome.

    Thanks for the welcome!

The scratches in the paint show through easier, the dirt shows through easier, and it's just as not as aesthetically pleasing to me. Unfortunately, it was the only manual turd sport in the city of Seattle at the time.

White actually hides scratches better than darker trucks, maybe give it a good polish and sealant since the factory dosent do this. Ive had 2 black trucks and a MGM, my white when clean and dirty looks 100 times better, ever detail a black truck? a day later its dirty/dust covered.

IMO white tacos look awesome with black wheels and trim. Hope it grows on you. Welcome to the forum!!

Thanks! I'm definitely going to try to spruce it up with trim and wheels... Maybe also some lighting. Just have to play around and see what can be created.
