Hey guys, i was thinking of repainting the rear fender flare on my tacoma cause it got scraped up against a bollard. Its a stock trd flare and i was wondering if sanding it down and then painting it with the dupli color primer paint and clear coat would work well. I assume its made out of plastic? does duplicolor works well on that surface? Thanks!

Make sure the primer states that is for use on plastic. Usually you have to use a special plastic primer because, to answer your question, yes, the flare is made of plastic and regular primer or paint will not adhere well.
