My apologizes, I'm new here; I got caught up in the moment and forgot to include the quote: Go ahead on, if you have the expertise.

There are times I'm tempted to take a hammer and put the first dent in my truck, just to wear the new off so I can relax. But nah, I'd probably still lay awake at night thinking about the fact that the gap between my grille surround and hood was off by .030" from one side to the other when I measured it with a vernier caliper.

I may be an asshole, but I don't think I suck. At least I don't suck at being an asshole.

As me and my wife were leaving the house, thru the garage, I noticed the USPS mail was delivered and laying on the garage floor, just inside the interior of the garage door. I saw a bubble wrapped package in the pile, picked it up, opened it, and it was my stubby antenna (WOOOO!) lol. While checking the mail, my wife had already opened the garage door and was seated in the truck which was in the driveway. She was waiting for me.

I eventually walk up to my truck, passing her door with small plastic antenna wrench in hand. She was looking at me walk by her door with her WTF look on her face and lip movement which I assumed was "LETS GO!!" (window was up, I remotely unlocked door so she could get in). You know what happens next.

I proceeded to remove the stock antenna, and twist on the stubby one, smiling at the results, while the wife is peering at me in the background, hands crossed, shouting expletives (which I could not hear). It was like a professional photo shot where the background was blurred and you can kinda see whats going on, but you are clear and focused on the foreground (in this case, my stubby).

Priceless moment...until I got in the truck.

I park at work outside my window as well to keep an eye on her. We have a man law here, leave an open space between if possible, if not watch it !

Curious, the numerous directions this thread has taken; necessary/unnecessary mods, women, wives, marital relations, personality disorders, quippery, self degradation, protective parking strategies, personal assaults on my character. Cool.

Right right, that other row is for the field lackies. Up against the building is for the office folks. Share that row with a brand new ram, and a brand new silverado. They are about as nuts as I am about the new truck.
