Does anyone else have trouble getting into the driver's seat without hitting your head on the overhead door jamb?

I suspect you are over 6'. Put your head in first.

No, but every time I leave the sunglasses holder open I bump into that. Maybe it's the floor height, but I do find that this truck is kind of awkward to get into compared to other vehicles I've owned.

    Fucking look it up
I got used to it but all passengers getting in the truck do hit their heads and I find it entertaining

I'm only 5'9", and I've tried every which way to enter the cab without rubbing the rest of the hair off the top of my head. Admittedly, I've got a stiff back and neck which complicates entry. So far I've only found that if I back in butt first and sit, bending at the waist with my head tilted forward, then pivot around under the steering wheel, most times I make it in without injury. I always had the same problem in my '98 4Runner, but I put up with it for 17 years because I loved the truck. Just thought I'd ask in case their was some secret posture that all veteran Tacoma owner contortionists knew, but weren't discussing.

I'm 6 feet even and never bump my head getting in/out. But I do drag my feet across the bottom door jamb/sill about every time, so I'm getting my money's worth from the protectors. This truck does seem to have a smaller entry point than I remember in other vehicles I've had.

6'7" and never hit my head. I have a long torso, even. 35" inseam.

That said, I'm used to ducking so it's entirely possible I duck when entering and exiting without knowing it.

I'm probably 5'10" when I'm in my wife's high heels.

I'm 6'4 and I don't hit mine, but maybe also just used to ducking. I DO however hit my head on the rear view mirror on occasion, and in the sunglasses holder if I leave it open

I am 5'9" and I have hit my head a few times. I think because I am still used to get in my full size.
