    Saw a similar video a while back. They used a short recovery strap or tree saver, that wrapped around the wheel and had a sand bag (that was filled on site, carried empty normally)tied to one end to wedge under the tire

    I guess once it's wrapped around the tire, the rope is not really holding anything. It's just to give it a start. They left a lot of slack on the tow strap so it could wrap itself around the tire before pulling.

    So is everything glued together or do you also use finishing nails to hold the curved wood in place? It's gonna be awesome when it is finished.
