I like the 2nd ones better & yeah those center cap seem to be ridiculously long. Haha

 

The best concealed carry holster i ever used was Galco hands down. I used my sig 226 w/o a light during u/c use and you could never tell i had it. never used it with a glock though. They tend to be a little on the chunky side IMO. and Alpha there are a few "mini" 1911 style guns that are more concealable if you like the style.

 

I have a g17 gen 4. Thing is bulky to carry so I'll have to get another one when I get my cwp

 

Neither one is going to be suitable for 37's.

 

Springfield also makes a sub .45. Check out the XDS line, I've put 1000s of rounds through the original .40 and the XDS. 40 with no issue.

Just go shoot a few name brands and see which feels more comfortable in your hands.

 

I really like my XDS. Never had any feed or ejection issues and carry it whenever I can.

why's that? the weight im guessing? or just the size, the tires im lookin at are 13.50 width so i thought a 17x9 would be decent for that. im not opposed to looking at other wheels, I was just wanting to try steelies out this time around since they are fairly cheap compared to aluminum wheels

I have been looking at the XDs line too, they look really nice. Need to go get my hands on one. I just keep getting pulled back to looking at the M&P Shield for the value and great reviews though....can't beat a $340-$370 pistol with the features and good feedback of that thing....idk idk .

Chris what is up with you like steelie type looking wheels so much? Just a personal preference? I guess I am just not that fond of how they look myself but it is not my truck.

really? hmm, so the 3.5" is compensating for going with a wider wheel and then the tire of course being wider? my wheels right now have 4.5" BS but im also running maxtrac spindles which push the wheel .75" out and 2" wheel spacers

im just trying to see if i can save money by going to the steelies instead of spending almost $800 on a new set of 17s when I can spend $375 on a set of steelies. BUT im not really opposed to spending the money on the
aluminums im just trying to see if there's something different i can do

 

You ever get that overheating issue taken care of?

 

as Jason had said on FB, she's not technically overheating, just running hot in those certain situations, so I dont know if its the fan clutch or something else that's causing her to run hot. But I guess as long as she doesnt overheat Ill see what happens

 

so did you get her temperature checked when it seemed to be running hot? can't be too sure

 

it just sucks....no matter where I look...seems like no one has 37s for 16s.....they only go up to 35s for 16s.....17s seem to be the norm these days with more tire options......I like my 16s though

no not yet, I need to get a IR temp reader then check it. but as I said though, its only in those situations either idling for extended periods of time or slowly moving offroad. I had the truck get hot once while at Biloxi and havent had her get hot since then. But this last sunday she got hot again while wheeling on the rangs

 

Didn't realize those spindles pushed you out and figured you were wanting to get rid of the spacers. Also thought you were going LT eventually in which I believe you will be going back to stock spindles. Just looking at the long term set-up.
