Posted this on the 559 thread. Hopefully I get that weekend off. I've never camped out on the dunes, I would usually camp at north beach campground near the ampm.

 

lol all tacos are welcomed untill us 5 lugs get stuck. ive gotten stuck to much in pismo. im hoping with the e locker axle installed i could enjoy more.

 

We would be camping out on the beachhead. I know exactly where you are talking about though! This promises to be a fun trip and I hope to make this one a good sized one for sure!

This is a total captain obvious question, but you have aired down prior to getting atuck out there right? What kind of tires are you using anyways?

 

i have hundreds of stuck pics of me in my silverado 2wd. its ok, part of the fun as long as you dont get stuck in a bowl.

I got stuck in a bowl once with this truck trying to help someone out. Eventually 4 of u total were stuck in there. It was pretty ridiculous! I may have. A picture of it too! I got out by backing up hell of quick up the bowl, throwing it in drive then FLOORING it out. Lol it was fun and funny as hell but I don't want to do that again.

 

Sounds like my last trip. My brother first time in Pismo and new truck couldn't make it up a dune so he sank back. Except he sank into a bowl. So eventually we got him out by backing up the bowl and stabbing it to get out. The way he got out was worse than the wall he tried to climb that got him stuck. Go figure.

 

I'll probably be out there on the 14th

 

Pismo always sets you up with some interesting ways to get stuck. Lmao. Thats why I love the place, always crazy, always changing, but always fun!

I live in slo. DTF is finishing my truck up now and should definitly be done with it before then so see you guys out there. Ill round up the DTF crew and all the locals!
