Annie follows the sound of them digging. She's not fast enough most of the time, but trench warfare is her specialty :annoyed:

For the really stubborn ones scrape away the dirt covering a hole. They don't like it and will pop up to cover it up.
Sit back with a cold one and a pellet gun to pop it in the head when he looks out.

    Afternoon all:
:annoyed: Drove down to a Sears store to buy Sears Weather Beater paint, they don't sell paint anymore! Then drove over to the Sherwin Williams paint store, that isn't there anymore :annoyed::annoyed:!
Noticed on the way down that there was a Sherwin Williams store on the left above where the other one was, so backtracked to that store.
Paint was on sale, plus a extra $10 off coupon was added, total $43.56. :)
From what the receipt says, I saved a total of $31.90 on that gal. of paint.
It looks like it retails for over $70 a gal., that's crazy!

Ok you, use that "DownEast logic".....A bag of lime, A solo cup around each new area, then in open holes, give em a "love dusting"
We use it for snakes but "in their eyes" will stop your critters also.....

That's the problem. I've limed the lawn twice and no open holes. I can't use any more or I'll shock the grass into submission.
Oh btw. How are ya ????

    Hi Sue!
    Going as usual!!:goingcrazy:
Couldn't believe that Sears doesn't sell paint anymore, their Weather Beater Ultra was a good paint, but I read that it was made by Sherwin Williams.
I did get the zero turn mower that I was going to look at, and just got done cutting all the low hanging branches that the roll bar would hit!
Earlier I burned all the wood that I ripped off of the garage, facia is on, now I just need to get new soffit up and then paint.
Then I can start on some other projects!!!!!!!!!!:(

:woot:for office work and set hours. Congrats on the grandchild.

Morning all:wave:. It's a shame about Sears Weather Beater Carl. Loved their paint. Sherwin Williams isn't all that good and expensive as well. Best paint I've used ( I hate painting so I don't use much paint) was Benjamin Moore.

Good luck with the mole problem Mike:laser:. never had them so can't give you any advice.

Have a good day all and a happy and safe 4th:oldglory::thumbsup:

    Morning all:
SURE; now you tell me that! :)
I'm pretty good at painting, but like you I don't enjoy it.
Like everything else, there's paint and then there's paint. I would rather pay a premium for good paint and not have to do it as often.
I read some reviews, and came up with Sherwin Williams; sure glad I didn't have to pay full price for it!
Some of the best reviews were on the Sears Weather Beater Ultra, but no longer available.

I am finally feeling better after returning from vacation. I caught some type of cold bug.

Here is a sunset pic from the Grand Canyon. The smoky haze if from the California fires.
