I took my cars to Car Tunes in Kailua, but the guy that did my installs for alarm and stereo is no longer there. LOL. Bunch of my friends go to Progressive.

I hear you on that. I usually go to Crutchfield.com to see what's new and compare before actually going to a stereo shop to actually see the unit, and if I like what I see, shop around locally to see the best price I can get vs. getting online and paying for shipping. If you got a way to get in, NEX is a good place to look too.

Actually NEX hasnt sold sounds for a long time now. I usually buy door speakers from ebay and jus buy used subs off craigslist.

I go to Progressive for all my car electronics. Except this last time I bought all my equipment from Amazon and just had them install. Get quotes for what you want though and then order online if you want. Although when I change my deck next I'll probably do it myseld and call for help if I do anything fancy.
