    Looks like I need to pick up the slack around here.

    My advice don't run trails alone and with out a winch unless you have a monster truck ( @eddyrtt @SGTCap) or you are so skilled/lucky (sandman).
    Small mistakes can happen and all you need to get off that rock is a little tug.

    When you buy your trail pass you will get a map. Easy/medium trails are marked clearly on it. If you can find someone equally capable to trail behind it helps to see the lines that work for you.

    If you insist on going alone know that Uwharrie changes character when it is wet, but dries quickly.
    Wolf Den, Falls Dam and Rocky Mount are all easy.

    Just like anyplace, even a dirt road can get YA if you don't stay alert. Just ask Loco.
