I just searched the forums and the only thing I could find about capacitors are jokes about the flux capacitor. Lol. I just had my system installed last week and just now looked where they installed the capacitor. My truck was off but the capacitor is always on apparently. Will this drain my battery? Any other concerns?

Capacitors don't use power. They are an energy storage device only. ...unless you have a fancy LED and digital display, then yes, it will eventually drain a battery. But I wouldn't worry about it if you drive at least once a week.

Yep capacitors hold a charge. I'm not familiar with them used in car audio, but if you need to change one in say an air compressor, you have to discharge them first. Otherwise zappy zap!

Capacitors do leak current when they age, so I would just keep an eye on your voltage levels.
