Full OME kit with Dakars, LR UCAs, and 887 coils gets my vote! Without a bumper that is by no means overkill....just a kick ass setup.

I have a 2011 access cab 2wd with stock tires and wondering how much bigger I can go with tires without getting a lift kit. 245/75/16 is what I got now.

In my opinion getting that close to the end of the range of the CV isn't worth the small gain. As you mentioned, it has the same spring rate, so it just doesnt seem worth it to stretch those axles that far.

We rebuilt a set of those LR uppers earlier this week. I wouldn't want to do that again haha. The bushing can't be pressed out to replace it, we ended up torching it out to save time. Uppers are uppers in general, and I wish I'd known this when I bought my shiny Icon billet uca's (which do use rod ends instead of bushings which is nice), but they really are all very similar. Its small differences like how a bushing is pressed in that make a big difference.

The taco tends to lean on the driver side because of extra weight under the hood. If you get the OME kit be sure to get the trim packer which compensates for the driver side lean.

Totally agree. Granted it's all about personal preference. But 6" seems like "going all crazy" for a daily driver.

It seems like 2" - 3" is pretty typical lift for these trucks that's functional for trails and highways.

Agree! My Taco leans slightly forward stock (I think they do this so weight in the bed makes it level instead of sagging). But my factory leaf springs haven't begun to sag yet either. I'd rather lean forward than have bro-lean.

When I can get the finances where I'm comfortable I'm planning on a 2-3" OME lift myself. But that $2k number is a chunk of change for me. ;)

This is what I am running except I have Total Chaos UCA's. With 275/70r17, could not be happier with the setup.

I second this. That's who got me setup. They will be very helpful and will get you all set with everything you'll need.
