Anything is a bad term to lead with when you're looking to buy :)

For instance, I have a set of fog light casings that fit a second gen. All you'd need to do is add bulbs and wire them in. I'd let them go for like $50 + you pay shipping. I've got a couple extra bed cleats too. $25 a pop would do it.

But do you know squat about wiring? Do you know what a relay is and how to put it in series properly? Do you even NEED foglights? Do you consider foglights an upgrade, or are you thinking more along the lines of sliders/new bumpers/leafs etc?

Don't call ME cautious, but we need a little more info ;)

Fog lights yes. They didn't come from the dealer with them. The only thing I've done is put a brush guard on. I know nothing about wiring period. I'm not exactly the most mechanically inclined guy out there.

This is exactly what I mean. Allow me to explain.

Here's the extra fogs I have. They'll fit a second gen up to I think 2011...snap in place easy with no tools.

    CAM00033_zpsheie95xq_b4f51573c9bc737ecee8788ddbcb97978f2dac90.jpg

You'd need to put the correct bulbs in (they're like 8 bucks at autozone) and wire them in. I did my first set straight into the running rights. This time, I put in a proper dash switch and relay and turn them off and on as I see fit, as Oklahoma has a thing about foglights at times.

I know how to wire and install such things, so I did this in half an hour in my garage. If you don't know how to do this, it'll take some research and time to do it.

Thus, is $50 for my empty lights a good buy for you, or should you spend..say, $100 on a set with bulbs, relay and switch included, and instructions to boot?

    Big difference.

Just tryin' to save you some money and possible heartache, mon.

    In other words...

Mine is a 2014. You think they'll still go in no problem?

Buy a complete kit so you don't have full around looking for bulbs, wires and what ever other shit you'll need.

    Nope.

In 2009 or 2010 I think, they changed the mounting points a bit, and the housing. You'll need to get some from roughly a 2010 or 2011ish or newer.

This was my point though...I could have said "Hey, second gen fogs for sale!" and been 100% honest ;)

Check your sources and use the search page...make sure before you buy that the items you want to add will bolt up properly. Most folks here on TW are good and honest peeps...but exceptions are always possible. I haven't been scammed once...but I triple check things before I buy to make sure!

    Very much this

A kit is the way to go if you're not an experienced modder. Get all the hardware, wiring, and instructions printed out in the box.
