Thanks man, I was just checking out your build last night. Wish I had the time and place to pick up welding.

Thanks! Yeah I actually went down to my place this weekend and completely forget to grab my saw to chop it off.... So now I'm trying to find a friend with one to borrow

Lol you and me both, I've been looking at dates to see the next time I can actually get out and it's not looking good unless I get this job I want out in Colorado/ California

For now all I got is old buildings to take pictures in front of lol

Yeah man it's a lot of fun to build stuff for sure. Hopefully my rear bumper will turn out as nice as yours haha

Thanks man. Yeah the bumper itself and the swing out are super strong. Just need to brace and reinforce the side panels. Then it's all downhill from there. Just a lot of finish work. Grinding and making it all pretty.

So I've had my CMC done for a while but after going to 35s it wasn't clearing at full lock so today I 90% fixed it. Basically my plate was completely vertical and needed to be tilted back towards the cab, so I cut the side and bottom and made a gap so the plate could be bent back with my BFH. Worked liked a charm. Still need to weld the plate but atleast I have full lock now. And I forgot to cut my exhaust lol

So I've really been torn with my front suspension, it always the plan to go LT (hence why I stuck with non res coilovers) But Ive been thinking of just getting boxed lowers so I at least have something that can hold up to abuse. I live in Illinois and with the fiance starting dental school ill be here for another 4 years at least so chances are Ill really never use the potential of LT 99% of the year. Decisions decisions...

And a small update on the @Pelfreybilt rear bumper. I haven't had any issues so far, the bumper is solid and noise free! It took sometime getting used realizing I can't just drop the tailgate anymore and having enough space to open the swing out in parking lots. Still trying to work out the rear view camera, I've been thinking about attaching it to the block the HiLift mounts to so I wouldn't have to extend the camera harness.

You got one? I sent an email but was hesitant since I would have to extend the harness myself so I've been looking for a placement where I don't have to extend the harness

I made one well before that was available. But yes some solder and brag shrink, no problem extending.

I'll grab a pic tomorrow or this weekend. Simple sheet metal mount.

Well finally chopped my exhaust this weekend... Also knocked down the 45,000 mark driving home from Ft. Madison today. So ill have to take care of the oil change and tire rotation this week. Trying to get CAD going on my computer so I can draw up some plans I made over the weekend for a rear seat storage solution. Going for a nice clean approach that will have storage and a fridge slide out

And a thread bump wouldn't be complete without some pictures
