    Skid Row. I got them for a sweet deal.

    I thought about doing Budbuilt for the price but I wasnt a huge fan of the design. The Skid Row has some added stuff. Then I randomly asked at 4WP about skids and learned I can get the Skid Row ones there cheaper than online. Plus a military discount AND free shipping. Only catch is I have to wait like a month since they don't have trucks going to where they're at very often.

    Well that month wait was pretty short lol. Looks like they screwed up and they charged me shipping after it got here. So I'll be going in tomorrow for a refund on that.

    Falling a bit behind here, so let's catch up :D

    Got my skids on and they look amazing. Took a while to get everything to fit right since I have a diff drop and one of the bolts that was sent was too long. But 5 or so trips to the hardware store later and it looks great.




    Then headed out to Easter Jeep Safari and shamed some Jeeps. :D

    When putting my skids on we noticed my water pump was leaking a little. No big deal at the moment so we went on the trip. Held up fine there but when we got back home, it started puking all over the driveway. So a little while later it got a little surgery.

    Apparently it was leaking for a while...


    So that got all cleaned up. New water pump, belts, pulleys, fluids, radiator hoses, and other things. Probably need a new alternator soonish too. Got it's oil changed before the trip. It feels like a new truck now. :D

    So now we're all caught up. :)

    Ok so it's been a while since I've had a good update! :D I have various pictures of my truck I took while in Moab for Rock Therapy (and pictures by others) that I will post here in time. Raffle was good to me and I ended up getting a $500 gift card to ADS Racing Shocks (so my front end is going to be revamped here soon), some GoJo, and some Rigid DOT/SAE Fog lights.

    Still have some wrapping up to do on the fog lights but they're mostly set. Pretty cool how cut off the beam is so I can use them while on the road :D Going to make great ditch lights.

    I wish :laugh: it was actually dirty in most of these pictures. That's why I want Toyota to bring back the color because it's almost impossible to see dirt on lol. I got to camp one night and someone was like "did you seriously wash your truck before you came to camp?" I actually didn't. He was shocked because he said he saw me a little ways up the road and said the sun was being off it lol thanks!

    Haha! You're right. I did the same thing when I saw those photos pop up lol

    So today was my first big trip (just a meet n greet an hour away). I don't have the UCAs yet but will be ordering some Total Chaos here soon.

    But I'll say even as it is currently...I'm BLOWN away by it! I don't have any experience with King or Fox so I don't know how they compare but these things are well worth it. The first thing I noticed is my road noise has been drastically reduced. Very quiet. It honestly rides like a Cadillac. I took it off a few curbs that would normally cause my previous setup to bottom out and clunk loudly and these things handle it like a pro. Pretty squishy but even at high speeds with no sway bar it still feels stable. I took it over a few speed bumps and it just soaks it up like nothing...and then the back end ended up getting air LOL so that's next in the plan. You can hear them hissing over the bump. I can't wait to get the UCAs.
