    Most people on the DYC forums use turtle wax ICE spray on wax. I have used it to and it works very well. No need to apply any slimy tire shine on dip.

    my rims badges hood scoop and lower bumper are all plastidipped. i don't understand when people platidipp interior things. if your going to take it apart might as well use spray paint...

    Me personally, I derped my button pads so I could get an idea if I liked the two toned look or not. If I didn't like it, no harm no foul. Just peel and move on. Now that I do like it, I'll eventually make it permanent.

    Nah. I just use the original black. That's all I've ever used. Don't really get too into it

    Using real paint requires a lot more prep and steps taken to do right. Plastidip is one step basically haha. And in my experience the things I've interior paint have not held up well and ended up getting scratched. After plastidip dries it can be pretty hard to scratch

    I personally hate chrome. I would either plasti dip it, or sand it down and actually paint it. Plasti dip would work just fine though. Probably use one full can.

    I have plasti dipped all my emblems since the stuff has came out. just make sure to prep like you would with paint (no sanding just clean the area with alcohol or something) and it will last forever. Or it has for me. I say clean the area because the first time I plasti dipped something I guess I left oil from my hangs and it thinned out like paint would.

    Haha so you see that I like your tailgate vinyl...I won't be copying it exactly.

    What I really want is a stamped tailgate like on the tundra or 2016 tacoma

    Yea that stamped tail gate looks nice.
    Maybe do a front end conversion with fiber glass as well as rear end bed glass with tail lights and new tail gate :cool:
