Haha when I drove it back and forth to work I got 170 to a tank. That's when I decided to get my car.

 

how much lift do I need to run 35's and can I still get 53 mpg?

 

I'm not being quite that ridiculous haha but if it was possible I would be all over it

 

I know you're not. there's who know how many threads about dudes wanting lifts and bigger tires while retaining stockish or better mpg. that's why I was being a smart ass.

 

Should be getting details on specific pricing on my lift in the next couple of days. He keeps saying "I am certain you will be pleased." So i guess we shall see.

 

Just don't do 35's. I was getting 15-17mpg on 33's but now I'm getting 14-15mpg. I drive between cookeville and Chattanooga quite a bit and there's a lot of mountains where I'm running 2500-3k rpm's for a long period of time so that doesn't help. I'm getting around 230 miles to a tank. It's not fun. But even if you do get a bigger tank, you'll be spending the same amount of money. Dad's stock f150 with the 5.4 motor gets about 470 miles to a tank but he has a 40 gallon tank and spends $75-80 on a single tank. We have a 21 gallon tank and I spend $40 to fill it up, so we get about the same mpg's. Which is kinda sad...

Y'all fuck sticks need to get a better argument then "it's a truck with bigger tires so it's gonna get bad mpg." Y'all do realize I get 18-19 mpg right? Mind blown!!!!!! Just cause you drive like a fuck tard and can't manage to get over 12 mpgs doesn't mean that's how everyone else drives. Let me ask you a question ........ So since "it's a truck, you shouldn't worry about mpgs", would you daily drive your Tacoma if it got 2 mpg? What about 4 mpg? What about 6 mpg? It's a truck so you don't care right? Or is my argument wrong because y'all are stupid and stubborn ........

And I replaced my starter Saturday. Good ole 12 mins of hardcore wrenching goin on. Now I gotta replace those stupid wheel cylinders and bleed the whole system. AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
