Do you have cruise? I am thinking about keeping cruise but ripping out abs in the future. Already took the bulb out of my dash so I can stop seeing the damn light.

Love the blue sea location, is it and the breaker hard mounted there? If so do you keep another diagram somewhere?

I've got CC but thankfully no ABS. The plan is to shift the CC forward a little bit providing some more space there. I'm thinking second battery will go there and end up putting a compressor and air tank under the bed.

Yea I just screwed the breaker and fuse box into the cover, the cover still lifts and I can easily access the stock fuses. I printed a picture of the diagram and stuck it in my glove box/owners manual

So CVJ built these right? Did you do the boot slide on the outer? Both my boots blew after I lifted so I am going to rebuild my spares that can deal with my lift. How are the high angle boots looking?

Yes and yes. All the boots are looking just fine. The outers do show some evidence of slight rubbing but nothing that I'm concerned about. The inners look like new. The silicone boots are smoother than the oem ones which I think gives them less friction if/when they do touch. I use dry silicone lube/spray on them.

So you've got a set of spares and are gonna just re-boot them? That's what I would have done if I had spares, but I was kinda in a hurry so just paid for the CVJs..

Even rebooting them isn't too hard, if the cv is already out it only takes 10-15 minutes each at most if you know how to do it. Had I known how easy it was to reboot I would have just done that to begin with rather than order CVJs.

Read them and heard good things? I see people talking about 8-10k on those boot kits but that's a drop in the bucket for my truck. I hopefully want to do it once and be good for a good while. All the maintenance I have been needing to do lately really makes me want to do the DD mod.

TBH I didn't really READ them haha just kinda glanced at them quick, seemed like positive reviews, but 8-10k isn't a very good life span. maybe just stick with OEM boots and do the slide mod, I mean the stockers held up for~190k for me haha, 45k lifted

I should have been more specific, they have 8-10k so far. Which means they just aren't that fully tested yet. I think I will do that kit with boot slide mod to be safe. If I tear again I will spring for the high angle boots.

Yo dood I was just thumbing threw your build and it's looking great man. I did notice your transfer case shifter is H-N-L not the usual h2 h4 n l4 like a lot of other vehicles. Just curios about that is your truck full time 4/all wheel drive??
