What wear have you seen that could be prevented by installing the plastic protective film etc to the door jambs or heavy wear areas? Things like this.

Who has rust proofed and where did you get it done? I live in MI and the salt is a pain.

I have a 2000 4Runner with frame rust. I want to vehicle to last.
