    Hey guys,

I've already posted this on another thread, but wanted to post it on one more thread (I hope you don't mind). I just wanted to get your opinions seeing as RTT are not cheap...

I'm located in Boise, ID and I'm interested in buying a rooftop tent... it looks like two options that I have that are near my location are CVT in Bend, OR and Adventure Sole RT in Spokane, WA. Most reviews about CVT are positive, but does anyone know anything about Adventure Sole RT? They're tents look very comparable to CVT, but they seem to be a bit cheaper. Just wanted to see if anyone knows anything about them. Thanks! -Hayden

***I did write this on the other thread "THE RTT Owners Thread (With BS)". The guys over there were able to provide more input on RTTs in general.***

    Hey Jonny,

For what it's worth, I did contact Adventure Sole RT to get a little more info about them. I spoke to the owner (Justin) and he seemed pretty cool. Quick to respond to messages and he seemed to know his stuff. He mentioned that their annex walls and flooring come with every tent, that you don't have to pay extra like I noticed some of the other companies make you do, including Tepui (charges approximately $95 for the annex and CVT that charges anywhere from $225 - $300 extra for the annex… yikes!).

I'm going to contact Tepui and CVT too, but I might give Adventure Sole RT a shot (their tents still seems like great quality, but at a fraction of the price that everyone else charges).

I'll keep you posted on things if I go with them! If you find out anything else about any of the tents, would you let me know?

Thanks again for all of your help!

If you purchase a tepui autana model, it comes with an annex already.

    Hey Ramonortiz55,

Do you know how much they run? It looks like all of those models are sold out.

    Thanks!

@HaydenGPalmer seeing you're a new member. Let me show you some tips:

You can place @ before a user name to tag anyone on this forum.

Just like facebook or instagram, you can tag anyone. Even if they're not "friends", per se.

Also, if you click at the bottom right, you can quote someone else's comments and they will know.

    Just trying to help :D

    -----------------------

The prices range from $1600 to a little over $2000 depending what model you go with.

Sorry @ramonortiz55! Thanks for the advice, I obviously needed it!

At $1600 to a little over $2000, it looks like the annex walls/flooring are already built into the price. That's pretty steep and the ASRT tents still seem a bit cheaper. But I certainly appreciate you responding to my comment, I need all of the advice I can get before I make my order!

ARB makes roof top tents I believe. Someone should correct me on that.

i ordered my autuna from expedition outfitters, $1300. i think normally they are $1450, BUT HE GAVE US A MILITARY DISCOUNT LOL gtta respect that. and I love it, and it is built for an annex, by that i mean the annex goes around the ladder, not like others where u have to leave the annex to go upstairs.

Of coarse. As it stands right now, I'm wanting to go with CVT, they seem to have a pretty firm grasp on the RTT game, and I'm comfortable with the model and the price tag. I live about 5 hours north of Bend Or, and I think it would be fun to road trip down there to get it, then camp for a couple days around the Crater Lake area!
