    Here's some more, more on topic So looking at both part numbers, it looks like the 4pin connector is about 12" long and has a factory style 'square' plug and the 7pin factory harness plugs in there but also has 2 other plugs. I presume one is from the brake controller and the other for reverse.

    Another step closer to getting the Factory trailer harness figured out. Just gotta find the BE1 connector at the rear of the truck.

    I had to trim some off the bottom of the shroud to sit in the bowl the best. There are a couple you won't have to modify but can't remember what they are. Might want to call the retrofit source and see which ones fit with the least trimming. Who knows, they could have a newer product line since I did mine that don't need trimming.
