One thing I forgot to mention, as I didn't hook it up, is that the BD Light has the built in ability to dim to 50%, and strobe. This is accomplished by an extra ground wire that you hook up to a momentary switch. One press dims to 50%, and if you press and hold, it will go into strobe mode. Strobe could be useful, out here anyway, to avoid collisions with wildlife, or making an on coming driver have a seizure. The 50% mode is great for driving in dense forest, or the like, where you don't need full power. TO add, You can get extra lenses of different beam patterns, or to replace damaged, or scratched lenses right from Baja Designs, and replace them yourself. Not sure of cost, but they might post up the info in here.

You talked to me about a security bolt kit. Is this available as an option on lights? If so, how much extra?

I forgot to mention, I talked with Bailey, and you can even change out the reflectors! So, If you decide later that you want more of a high speed Spot, or vice versa, you can simply buy whatever reflectors you want, and change them.

Great to see this being done @chris4x4, but unfortunately this is a little obscured in the comparisons as they are not quite apples to apples. The C-Series light bar used here is an older version, although the end result of the current version would only be slightly different so no big deal. Great value for a light we stand behind for 23 years. The big thing here in true comparison would be to bring our FLEX series light in to the picture. Now that is something to talk about! We can send one out to add in here if this is really about comparing lights, shoot us a PM and let us know!

Looking at the specs on the flex, I might pass, as its almost 1100 bucks. Almost 400 over the BD bar. My review here wasn't to show which bar throws out more light, but rather to show what you get for your money, by spending a little bit more. All 3 bars I tested are at incremental jumps in price, and I was trying to touch on what difference you get for that price jump.

On all of our Lights, the reflectors are replaceable! Damage one, simply pop it out and stick on the new reflector.
For the OnX6 specific, the High Speed Spot reflector stays the same. It is the injection molded lenses that determine the different beam patterns.
On our Squadron Series and S2 Series lights, some patterns do require a reflector swap! PM us or give us a call to determine the right kit for your lights.

    Thank You,
    Bailey, Baja Designs

I went from the Chinese light bars to Rigids to Baja Designs as you can see from my build thread. There is ZERO competition in my opinion for Baja. They may be a little bit more expensive but I had a Rigid E2 30" and the Squadron pro pods outshines the 30". Also I replaced all my Rigid duallys with the squadrons. The rear facing dust lights I replaced using Squadron sports which are only 1800 lumen from their sight and still are almost too bright.

I absolutely love the strobe and dim feature. I have had multiple people tell me the only reason they saw my truck threw the dust was the 20" amber strobing. And that's with the 52" and 30" also on and/or strobing.

I haven't used kc kites or Baja designs but from a purely looks and performance standpoint I go with rigid. They are a solid performing product and while they don't heavily discount prices they are good lights.

    Check the build thread.
While we are on the topic of LED lighting...
I ran across this video of the Rigid Industries SRQ2 flush mounts in action by @Benson X and loved seeing the lights video'd in real world application while driving instead of just a static street view where a lot of variables could come into play with a photograph and if all the lights compared were at the exact same angle.
(the 10" bar he uses in the video is a cheap knockoff).
