    I mounted this custom bumper a few weeks ago to see if I could get it to work with my gigantic bike rack & it unfortunately just isn't going to work.
    The swing gate, & bumper all work great & as advertised, I was just hoping to modify it into doing something it isn't designed for. My Loss is Your Gain
    *It has been mounted but otherwise is in pristine condition.
    *The swing arm has a RotoPax mounting plate, Spare Wheel mount and has an extra trailer hitch receiver in.
    *Powder Coated Black
    *Spring loaded 'hidden hitch' license plate.
    *Back up camera relocation bracket works great.
    It is located in San Diego & I had the mount / unmount done by Jason Watson of Speed Freak - Highly recommended.
    Please feel free to ask me any questions - It is possible to ship the same way Pelfreybuilt ships, just let me know where you are & we can look into costs.

    Yeah, exactly - I have a Thule 4x rack that alone weighs over 100# with 4 bikes its damn near 200#
    My goal was to be able to leave them mounted & swing the whole gate & rack away in order to access the bed of the truck - the weight wasn't really a problem but the leverage that the super long rack creates could eventually trash the hinge.
