    I just got a 1995 Tacoma with the 2.7
The manifold is cracked so me and my buddy thought it would be better to just put headers on instead of replacing it. I'new to this kind of stuff so any thoughts on brands and types would be awesome

    Hi Joe, :)

I had a 1996 2.4 and ran an LCEngineering header on it for many years.

I'm presently running their header on my 2012 2.7.

Their headers are impeccably designed and fit perfectly. Give them a call and ask them if they stock a header to fit your Taco.

Quality wise where does LCE fall(low, medium, high)? The one thing I was told is to not go cheap when out comes to headers. And have you ever had collecter gasket issues? My coworker who had a 99 said because of his cheap header is going through 2 month

LCE tops the list on quality. Zero leakage on my 1995 for ten years and zero leakage on my 2012. I'd have a hard time finding a product with which I've been more pleased. :)

    Gibson still makes parts.

Does the LCE help with low to mid range RPMs or just higher RPMs. I am looking for a header that helps with some acceleration and throughout the whole RPM range. I have heard that the NWOR header does just that. Is this true?

This one will increase the low to mid power. Tooter has a dyno, and it might also be in my dyno thread in my Sig.

    What is an NWOR header?

NWOR is the Northwest Off-road. And you're saying the LCE will increase low to mid power?

I'm repeating what I am pretty sure tooter said. He did a few different dynos. I think he said that it move his peak torque about 600 RPMs sooner. I do not remember the gains.
