Has anyone used Meguires Ultimate Liquid Wax? Supposedly it's Meguires most durable and long lasting sealer (synthetic wax). I'm wondering how it compares to NXT or Megs21. it doesn't stain trim and can be used in the sun. wipe on, wipe off in 2-5 mins. sounds like some good stuff.

If I'm going for a shine that I want to last for around two weeks and causes water to bead on the wheels, I use ArmorAll extreme tire shine gel. IMO it works better than the spray on's because it actually adheres to the tire and doesn't sling off. Now the ArmorAll I only use once every two-three months due to the fact that it CAN dry rot the tire, but I haven't had that issue within the past year and a half of use. If you want that new tire look without shine, I favor the Meguiars Hot Shine series. It makes it shine, but not as bad as the ArmorAll does.

I use Meguiars Hyper Dressing. It can be diluted to achieve the shine you want:

    High Gloss 1:1
    Medium Gloss 2:1
    Satin Finish 3:1
    Natural Finish 4:1

I buy it in the gallon size. My wife likes her tires shiny so I dilute it 2:1 in a 32oz bottle & apply it with a Carrand Tire Brush Applicator. I made up a bottle about 8 months ago & I'm only half way through it. This is on two vehicles that are regularly washed so it's very cost effective compared to the over the counter tire shine products. It's also great on the engine bay & wheel well plastics.

Rejex after running it through a car wash...apply it at the car wash and wipe it off in my garage. I buy white vehicles when possible and silver to avoid the constant primping. Thats why I sold my Corvette. It was a career keeping it clean....A truck is not as "needy" Its a truck....

I love it. You can either spray your tire directly & then work the tire shine on or spray the tire shine directly onto the tips of the brush & work it in.

"Find a product you like and use it often." Famous words from Mike Phillips from Autogeek.

I have found the Blackfire line to be excellent. Total Polish and Seal, Wet Diamond, Crystal Seal, and their Total Eclipse Tire Gel. They all are easy to work with and provide excellent results.

I used to believe any product would work as long as the consumer enjoyed the purchase. Boy was I wrong. ArmorAll is just one product that I try to stay away from as much as possible. Their car wash and wax is pretty much the only thing I use now from them. I've turned into a Meguiars fanboy. Their products just work and seem to be satisfactory for my everyday uses. I just can't say that anyone can pick up anything and it be "okay" to use. Too many harmful chemicals found into today's cleaners to just apply any brand to your vehicle.

I put some Meguires Ultimate Liquid on my tailgate yesterday just to test it out. Holy cow does it shine. Looked even better after sitting for 12 hours. Amazing stuff. I can hardly wait to get a coat on the whole truck, but I need to wait for the #21 to wear off (which is gonna take awhile I've been told).

Did a thorough detail on my '15 for the first time yesterday. Used a Meguire's clay bar kit and followed up with NXT 2.0 Liquid Wax. One thing I also like to do is take a can of Armor All tire foam and do the tires + inside of all the fender wells + visible parts of the frame. Gives everything a clean black shine without making the tires too shiny.
