On top of the diagonal tubes missing it has no support between the front of the frame so when u flex the truck the frame flexes too it has caused the frame horns to start cracking. The valving is spot on don't need to fuck with it just needs new oil and maybe seals

I didn't know any of this was going on. I don't recall ever saying the truck was perfect and someone should buy it

I might be getting a garage pretty soon here so i can take care of light fab and welding if you need
its an easy fix beefing up the bumper, and you really should do the shocks yourself, its reeeaaally easy.
btw DSM is in SD so youd spend more in gas than materials

I feel like that is such a common vehicle layout. Especially on this site. Everybody has a tacoma and their wive/girlfriends have 4runners. I think if my girlfriend got a new 4runner though I would be jealous. I love my truck but those things are awesome!

No worries. I was aware I wasn't getting a perfect truck. Nothing built like this is ever perfect. Still happy over in my corner!
Thank you for letting me know things I didn't know. If you know more you can PM me!

I'll be up in SB for the first time since I started working in LA this weekend. Look for my grill-less truck and give me a wave!

I'm not too sure but, if you need a set of U-Bolts, I have a brand new set of 1st Gen ones that All Pro sent me that I'm not planning on using. I don't have the plates though...just the u-bolts.

Yes. I just don't have the metal plates the u-bolts go into to secure them in place.

When I ordered their flip kit for my 08 they ended up accidently sending me 1st gen u-bolts. I called them & they mailed out the right ones promptly after.
