The Black one is the XM Shark Fin antenna. The White one is the AM/FM antenna and I am not sure what the Grey one is.....maybe nav?

I think the white one is the Sat/Nav. I have a 2015 and the antenna that came with my nav unit is white.

    Thanks! You are correct sir.
Grey i believe is for the USB/AUX.
White I think is GPS for the "traffic".

I am bumping this as I really need to know what the proper designation of the black plug is.

I just installed an Entune Plus from a 2014 into my 2015 base, and am in need of the correct XM antenna that will plug into my factory stereo.

    Thanks gang!

Same kind of question here. Which one of these connectors is for my shark fin. I have a '12 Tacoma and installing a 14 non nav headunit and need to know what adapter.

FWIW, I didn't use an adapter with my XM antenna, I ended up using my Stakons and slowly and carefully snipped a little at a time and removed the plug that was to large and just put the cable end which has retention to it anyways onto the XM units male end. It holds just fine.

My reason for this is of I trade by next year I'm removing it anyways.

It's the black one, the white is the GPS Antenna for your Trafic and Weather stuff.

Thankfully on the back of the units the corresponding color coded female end is there.

Now it's called something funny and I forgot, give me a second and I'll find the name.

Pretty much the funny name is a standard name but the different colors are what distinguishes them apart. They come in about 8-9 different variants but the color is the defining part.

Found it! They are FAKRA connectors. Do a Google image search for them and you'll see the connector types and colors. I'm not 100% convinced they are them but it makes sense with the color coming in the plugs versus what is on the back of the unit, since I found my solution I didn't dive in any deeper.

Just incase anyone needs to know. I just had my audio install done and changed out headunit. My installer could not connect to my factory shark fin for my XM so is put the XM on my dash in the middle and it works fine. I like it this way so if I trade my truck in and put my factory headunit back in it will be no problem.

Interesting thread.... I am struggling with installing a 2015 Entune HU in a 2012. The XM antenna connection is giving me a real fit. I need a connection exactly like the black connector, except the 2012 sat antenna is square with a square connector inside. There's no way to 'make' it fit. Def requires a adaptor or a new fin.
