There is a major difference between a 2" spacer and a 3" spacer. Measure the height of the spacer. A 3" spacer will require new UCAs.

If it's a 1" spacer (2" lift) you can make it drive by removing the wheel spacers. If you have a 3" lift, you'll need UCAs to make it drive straight. That's not to mention that not many struts are designed to handle the suspension geometry change of 2 - 3" spacer lifts. Wheel it much and you'll end up breaking the struts.

Edit: Even with my 2.5" of lift and stock UCAs, I have 0.0 camber on driver side - I have 0.6 on passenger due to effed up alignment cams and bushings. I had it aligned a couple weeks ago.

Just put the truck back to stock. It seems obvious that you don't have money to do it right, and no desire to learn how to work on the truck at this point. Does that sum it up?

The factory parts are all there which makes it easy and cheap. Remove the wheel spacers, as they are only exaggerating the alignment issues. Remove the the strut spacers. Everything back to stock, align it to factory specs. Perform a good inspection of the ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rod ends etc. Those wheel spacers have probably caused havoc on everything else by now. If the front of the truck is wrecked, everything needs to be inspected properly.

Once you have everything worked out and you have some extra cash, then you can look at lifting it another way.

    Yes on the money part.
    &
I have the desire to learn how to work on the truck 100%.

    Just clarifying :crapstorm:

    Profound Response however.

    :)

Btw I'm jealous of your truck

Anyone who cares: It's a 2" spacer lift that I will remove this week.

That has nothing to do with taking it to a mechanic for an opinon on the lift lol.

Also carfax does not hold all records on cars. Many times you will not see accidents or damage if the owner never claimed it on insurance. My truck has a perfect history but I've been in an accident.

My truck tracked bad before UCA's. Worth the investment.

@glorifiedwelder checked out my truck today and noticed my bumper bracket was bent and headlight brackets were cracked.. probably from a rear end from previous owner

Good news is that I got some stuff done via @glorifiedwelder

My taco feels more stable due to the weight increase. Getting Spacers removed and shocks and struts installed friday.

Got Built Right in a group buy, but any aftermarket should be better than stock.

I like how instead of putting money towards fixing the problem you dump more money into mods :bananadance:
