-both the sport and the OR have TRD decals
-not certain the sport costs less than the OR
-the sport is just as capable on dirt for 99% of owners
-the hood scoop is better to those who define better as something that looks cool to them.

That sand color, DCSB TRD OR, with every possible option. I don't want the sun/moonroof, but I guess it comes with a package, so . . .

I started with an '88 pickup, also had an '87 at one point. Then I had a '97 and a '10. This time I want it loaded.

    Stock and loving it
You can see here, in this thread I made which very few people have looked at, that the Sport costs less in all configurations than the Off Road.

The hood scoop will really drop jaws on the freeway.
I would pay more and put myself in the 1% group who made need a locker. Always best to be prepared

Haha but I'll play along, new F-150. Keeping the taco for a weekend toy.

When do you plan on getting it?

Are you going with the eco boost?

Really thinking about the Eco boost, probably going to see if I can wait a month or so and see how much mire they will deal on the 2015s

Well let me know how you like it.
I have made the final decision to get a 16' Taco UNLESS my SO decides to buy a home then I'm SOL on my truck for a bit (why does the perfect truck and home have to be found all at once?).
I love my 250. Love it. But the gas bill is getting to me and I'm going from manual labor jobs to the academic/government workforce so my need to use it is less.
Was considering the Ecoboost for the best of the mpg and work capacity worlds. Although I fear the ecoboost may not perform as well in towing. Especially after I'm used to the ease of the 250.
It's a slick looking truck though. If I get my farm in the future I may go back to Ford.
If money was falling from the sky and a home wasn't a priority I would want a Platinum 250. If money was really falling from the sky, a King Ranch.

Enjoy the Ford. But take care of it and maintain detailed maintinence records. I feel like Fords (read American trucks) are less forgiving of missed maintinence.

I've got a bronco with 157k and it's been a great truck and has had less issues then the Tacoma. My taco only averages 15mpg and that was before I switched from BFG AT's to a Mt. Bronco is a little short for towing a 26 foot boat but does do the job on short runs. I'd love to get a 250 diesel but the one I want is just a bit rich for my blood. I'm on the fence about the Eco boost for towing but according to the #'s it should do the job. Really like my Toyota too but kinda need a full sized and just don't like the tundras.
Have to agree about the king ranch, that's a really nice riding and driving truck. Drove one just to see a few weeks ago and was very close to just increasing my budget but I would be a bit nervous throwing the dogs in after a day at the beach

Thats where I am and I bought a 15 and have 1300 miles on it LOL I am either going to keep the 15 for the long run or the 16 IF I like it better, What more can it cost? $5000? for the same model

    Issues I have with 16
    1. Interior " surround" paint
    2. Front grill
    3. Squared of corners compared to the 15
    4. Wheels are butt ugly

    Things I like
    1. Updated tech
    2. Tail gate design
    3. Better fuel economy?
    4. More torque?
    5. I rather have the rear locker than a Sport.
    6. I want to see the LTD and pricing

Waiting to SEE one before I decide and the spread in pricing......

I'm thinking of going with a manual DCSB V6 4x4. Anyone know if a manual transmission is only available on the TRD models? Or is it possible to get in SR5?

I've seen many say that only the Inferno will have the matching interior paint BUT like most
things involving the 2016, it's all assumptions right now.
