What I would do is talk to your friend about it, since he has an a tablet, have him watch the weed specials on cnn, they were done by doctor Sanjay Gupta, lots of good info.

Once he has educated himself, see if he wants to try something like this. Also I would have to also speak to his doctor about it as well. Chemo is an ass kicker from what I can see, but he may not want this as a part of his treatment, it's ultimately his decision.

I've seen it help my buddy, there are a lot of reports you can read online. Get the info and see if it will work for your friend.

I actually thought you were kidding. I guess I can run it by him. Not sure they offer that here in Kansas but I've also never done any research.

He's already bored stiff. He still feels fine so far. He's a stud.

This isn't a matter I feel any kind of jokes or kidding would be appropriate. Unfortunately I don't think medical marijuana is legal in KS, it failed when they tried. I think it is on the ballot again, but you'd have to travel to CO, or a state closer to you.

You could try and find a "street dealer," but you're going to be looking for specific compounds. You're going to want strains with high thc and cbd content. Since cannabis is now recreational legal for recreational or personal use in CO, you get a better idea of the strains because you can find places that lab test each strain.

First, let me say that I lost my dearest friend last year to pancreas cancer, then our other friend was diagnosed with this specific cancer the beginning of this year. He too has undergone chemotherapy, and ultimately bone marrow transplant in conjunction with various experimental drugs and treatments. Fortunately, he is in remission now and recuperating well. So far, so good.

So, my friend, I feel your pain... both of you. And I wish your friend a complete recovery. And I thank you as a person for being there for them. That's really the most important thing they could have, is your company, your support, your strength, your smile. Being there till the end for one friend took a toll on me physically and mentally. And then, finding out that another was on the brink was quite another story. Just be sure you get plenty of rest, eat, and have someone you can lean on too for support. Your health is just as important during this trying time.

I also recommend a tablet, perhaps with a Netflix or Hulu subscription, or load up a gift card to be used in an App Store, music store, etc. if they already have a tablet (or laptop). A 3d puzzle could be fun. Also, Xbox or play station games also fun, if they allow a hook up to their room tv.

Smoking weed really isn't the best suggestion for someone whos immune system is compromised and in an isolation room IN a hospital.

Not going to happen so no sense in discussing it.

I would want someone to take care of ny family while I was in there. Making sure my spouse had the fort held down with the kids and someone to pick up my slack. That would mean the world.

Made this thread mostly to help my buddy with his boredom so I didnt update every day of his progress. Feel free to follow him on facebook if you want.

But he is doing the best from what the doctors say. His only complaint had been mouth sores. He finally shaved his head but he was going bald anyways. So that didn't bother him. Modern technology with Ipad and FaceTime have been a blessing. That's all for now.

Thanks dudes. I work in a hospital so I see it all the time. But it's weird when it happens to you or a friend. Glad he's doing better.

My buddy kicked Cancer Butt. Made it look too easy. After feeling like crap for months on end, not being able to keep food down, not being able to hold his own baby boy, and not even being able to go to his own house. After a year he's doing great. Has to have blood work every month and stuff to keep checking on it. Unreal Stud right there.
