That's awesome. I can't make the next one, but I'll head up there next time. Any good trails just over the border?

Unfortunately not the ones on base, unless you're retired.

There's word of a trail that goes from MD to Maine. We just have to find it. Brand new truck so it would behoove you to avoid Shamokin (mud there eats your seals I know from personal experience), RC is usually where they end up playing right now in PA it's an Offroad Park so you pay to get in. VA has a few spots some others wanted to check out as well.

You need to be active, reserve, or retired to use. Fortunately (sort of) I chose to stay in the reserves after finishing active duty so if you want to use the garage I'm more than willing to meet up for a mod day.

I love off roading but Jesus I hate what mud does to trucks. I miss Texas when it was all dirt trails and rock obstacles.

Awesome!!!! They need a private sector business like that, it might be worth it... Lots of people don't work on their vehicles anymore though.

I see your 60K and raise you 40K... fortunately I'm rust converting all this part by part; disassembling my frame/suspension and rebuilding after painting is harder than I thought it would be.

Was that from Shamokin or just normal mud?

Wow. Might be a dumb question, but can't you just clean the undercarriage after? Apply a coating of some kind?

A combination of Florida pan handle salt from the gulf + Corpus Christi gulf salt... even with constant undercarriage washings + WD40. I've learned my mistake and I'm currently de-rusting and eastwooding each part under the truck. I'm also spraying filtered transmission oil over everything.

Lol that is after cleaning it. I would take my ramps to the carwash and pressure wash under it. The issue is that it's a coal mine land and the Chemicals mixed with gritty Mud get stuck between the seal and the case so as it vibrates is slowly tears into the seal eventually causing a leak from how I understand it @LUSETACO the mud there is just evil haha.

A few other people have had it happen from playing there we use to go pretty regularly most of my trips were to that area. I'll miss blowing things up with friends haha. As a former marine I'm sure you shoot right? I haven't been shooting in a while... Would love to take a trip to Centralia to shoot anyone else down? I'll need a lifted truck lol

Or shovels would work too.... They built the damn berms to high for stock height without a truck to pull you over.
