I want to add a sub in my 2015 double cab. Anyone know of a box that sits behind the seat without modification?

A little more info is required, What is your budget, experience with audio, will you be building your own box, what type of music do you listen to, are you looking to put the subs behind the passenger section or the driver section? do you have any other audio mods, front speakers, aftermarket deck etc

My budget is under $500. I have enough experience to install, but not the knowledge of specifications of space needed for proper sound. I listen to everything from Duke Ellington to Lupe Fiasco to Tool.
I would like to put it behind the rear seat. I was thinking 1 10in. It is the stock entune audio with navigation. Nothing aftermarket as of yet. I assume they do not come stock with rca input. did on my previous tacoma was splice a Line output converter into my rear door speaker.

Unless someone tells me how dumb of an idea that is, I was planning on doing the same thing in this new truck. I wanted to keep the stock deck to reduce the thought of someone looking in and wanting to steal my stereo. It worked like a charm, never had any issues.

Also, I was hoping to not have to pull out the plastic molding. Not sure how practical that is, but I have hope that I will figure something out..

Not pulling the plastic massively limits your choices.

Went with SuperCrewSound and called them to change the specs a bit. You can look through my threads and see pics of the box. Fits like a glove and sounds great.

    10" JLW1V3 (I think), can't remember.

Check out my threads, you'll see it.

Oh, just read you want to keep the plastic, there are options, but like has been stated, it limits your options.

Ok, I came to the conclusion that it will be better to take the plastic out instead of cutting into the plastic.
So, I am hoping in the next month to be installing this system. I am going to keep the stock deck. In the past I have used a line input converter with no issues, Anyone know if there is an adapter or wiring harness I can install into the entune navi deck to avoid the converter?
