JLee's sliders look like an awesome, well built product. Everyone says good things about them. I'll take another look at them.

Post #10 in this link shows the bolt on option. Very stout, 165 lbs or so I believe the shipping manifest said. They require no drilling. Im in Phoenix and the cost to ship on top of the actual sliders was $165.

Another mention for BAMF's build quality. He offer a full bolt on slider that offers you the security of knowing its BAMF built tough!

Although frustrating, it sounds like your bad experience may have saved you from some body damage! You mentioned liking our heavy-duty sliders, and we'd love to earn your business, so please contact us for a quote. We have minimal lead times and numerous shipping options. Also, our sliders are one of the most trail tested out there!

Even though I don't have sliders I was planning to buy some but decided to spend the money on something else...now I have a $1,300 dent down the side of my truck...would've been much happier to bang up a ~$500 set of sliders than sheet metal lol

Yep my friend.... What you purchased was not "true" sliders. As the old saying goes... you get what you pay for.

@Pelfreybilt makes some unbelievable sliders and their customer support is the best I've ever dealt with.

And yes... You can use a High Lift Jack to lift the truck with no issues.

You can't put a price on piece of mind. I went all out and shelled out 700$ for some sliders(canadian market) they're overbuilt and have taken countless amounts of abuse. Especially since I've spent so long wheeling stock height. If it wasn't for these bad boys my truck would be a write off by now

So I finally had my RRO refund go through. It's been a huge PITA but I've ordered a set of sliders from a reputable TW vendor and they're on their way. The RRO guys need to get their sh#t together. When I initially called inquiring about my refund (the day after I sent the rocky thingies back) I was told by a csr there that once my package was received the refund would be processed. I was also told that their refunds were processed in "batches" usually on Friday. How many unsatisfied customers are needed to require processing the number of refunds in "batches"? Luckily one of their customer service reps knows what their doing and when I called today (to verify they had received their thingies back) he put my refund through without making me wait until they processed a "batch" of refunds. About one month until I can install a good set of sliders.

I have recently been doing A LOT of research about sliders: I'm in the market but have somewhat different criteria...
Please remember that almost any "lifetime warranty" will likely ONLY include a refund of the DEPRECIATED price you paid and WILL NOT likely cover any damage to your vehicle. Do yer research, buy the best you will need, and only cry once.
The Rocky Road website and vehicle options (and lack of good photos!) is very difficult to decipher. Reminds me of the Dr. Bronner's' bottle label. (I LOVE Dr. Bronner's!)

There are now MANY bolt-on brands.
