Don't let us white truck owners tell you what to do. Get what YOU love. If it means waiting then wait. Don't regret anything.

Yeah man, you're the one making payments for 5 or 6 years, assuming you're financing, so get exactly what you want

I didn't want a white truck when I was looking, but the guy I bought it from was basically giving it away. I love it and don't regret it. But you should definitely get what you want.

I wanted white for this reason. But I ended getting the silver gray.

Get what you want and what you're happy with, if you have to try to convince yourself that you like it chances are you don't. I wanted a mag grey at first but then they told me 3 months until they could get one for me in AK and they said if I wanted black I'd have to wait 3 weeks. Black was my second choice so I took it, and i'm not regretting it. That's mostly because I liked both equally though. They're all cool colors so get whichever one makes you happy!

White is my least favourite colour.. and my favourtie. It doesn't show scratches nearly as bad as darker colours which is awesome when you hear the screech of a branch making its way down the full length of the truck. Super White is also really easy to colour match!

The thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't heat up.. Meaning the truck never dries out as well as a darker coloured one. It does make a difference when you live in Nova Scotia where they use metric shit loads of salt on the roads during the winter. But if you've been driving a bike for the last 3 months, it doesn't sound like you have to worry about rot.

If it's not the color you wanted and plan on keeping it for many years, I wouldn't settle unless white was an option you had considered from the get go. I settled on silver even though I wanted either gray or blue. Silver was what they had so I got it. Most days I wish I had just waited and gotten what I really wanted. White and silver age the best, but in the end, if it's not what you really wanted don't settle.

To the OP...Get what you want. But after fifty years of buying vehicles of all colors, I have settled on white for all of the reasons given above. In the past 12 years I have had two white Rams and my wife has had three white Tacomas. Just bought a 2015 Tacoma TRD Off Road. I even like the its chrome bumper and grill...but then I'm an old guy.

If I hadn't gotten indigo ink, would've definitely gotten white. My Subaru is white and it's way easier to keep clean. My truck needs a wash weekly.

    (at least assumed by others)

The best looking white Tacomas are the ones with the contrasting fender flares and dark grill surrounds (no chrome):

Stick to your guns or make them compensate with some gear. TRD exhaust? Side steps? Supercharger? If you signed for grey and they can't deliver the color then make them deliver the goodies.

White was not my first choice. Price swayed me. Go look at the actual truck. I like my white more each day. The $1500 that I got off the price helped a ton. Corner the guy, call him out and get 10 crisp $100 bills for his mistake. Dealer screw ups = buyer $$$$:). The cool part is you inked the deal prior to the delivery so they can't pull the b.s. Switch-a-roo on the numbers. Besides there's nothing you can do to get the ugly off the front of the 2016, and the standard cab option is gone from what I hear. Bend them over the way they bend everyone else over!

I was going to post the same thing. Use this as a reason to negotiate a lower price. They fucked up, so you get paid. Color of the truck doesn't matter, I had a white Tacoma, now I have a MGM one. I didn't care about the color.

    Ugh... dude.

    The white sucks.

Especially if you were wanting Mag Gray - its a totally different color and you wont be happy with it.
