Yeah, the boy racer orange paint on the dash looks cheap and cheesie... plus the passenger vent by the door is NOT painted orange, when the drivers vent is... unbalanced and cheap now (2015) and a total cheesie look years from now... The cool market research gimmick team for the young hip demographic "orange dash board and a GoPro mount" awesome dude!!!

A bit on the orangish side...I think it works though.

From the FJ company, they OCD meticulous restorations. [IMG]

Wow, look at the space between the grill and the radiator. You could fit a basketball in there. Here's to form over function.

Isn't the extra space up front to comply with new crash standards ?

Wow, your pics are pretty damning. Looks like they just added more protruding plastic.

I don't know, maybe. But how would extra flimsy plastic safer in a crash?

Crazy, not sure what that empty space supped to do. Not like air is good crash protection.
Anybody else surprised how tiny that engine is?

Not sure the plastic extension is a safety feature. More inclined to think it just to support the new plastic "modern" look.

Couldn't open the link but that makes sense. Softens the impact for the pedestrian in the rare event of an accident while it nerfs the functionality of the truck for the driver forever. Makes sense but not a fan.
