When I use a tablet the Start Window UI is useful, but on a laptop I wanted to blow my brains out. I'm not planning on ditching my ultrabook any time soon. I have done the major upgrades(I7 processor, 16gb ram and larger SSD) to make it faster for now and the near future. Plus I got the ultrabook for free, so that's always a plus.

I manually downloaded and installed Windows 10 using Microsoft's MediaCreationTool. After 10 attempts to download and install it failed every time. Kept saying, "Something happened".

Eventually I said screw it. Formatted my hard drive. Reinstalled Windows 7. Updated it. Then downloaded Win 10 again. Worked like a charm. Runs nice and smooth.

My hardware manufacturers (my PC is custom built) all had Win 10 drivers out already. All is well. :) Pretty painless.

An hour tops? But I have pretty solid download speeds and a high end custom built PC.

This is by far the easiest install I've seen with Windows. If you do the upgrade you don't really answer any questions even. It's pretty easy.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
Yes, you have 30 days to rewind back to your previous version.
