Very Georiga O'Keeffe, with all sorts of round things and pointy things. Have you shown this to your therapist ;)

    Just kidding, very nice sketch

Slowly resurrecting this old log smokehouse. The logs are yellow poplar and were originally pulled from the woods with oxen around 120 years ago. Still hard work today, but having a boom truck sure is handy.

Wholly Crap that's awesome! So amazing to think how all these structures were built the way your constructing now without the use of modern technology.

I know, right? People back then were a whole different kind of tough and ingenuous.

Still need to cut the posts level, add caps and finish some gate hardware. Big improvement in privacy from the old slotted fence we had before.

Pieced this together over the last week. All roadside freebies made me a nice little patio living room.

I love deals! Especially ones I finally on craigslist and the side of the road. Favorite free find is a 8 ft tall sideboard cabinet. It's easily 100 years old, backed with TG wainscoting and has bi-folding upper doors that lock in place when open. Really cool stuff. It was cut in half horizontally when we found it and now is serving dual purposes. In two different areas of the house till I can figure out how I'm going to turn it into a console for our flat-screen.

Saw you guys posting some artwork. Looks great! I enjoy some drawing as well every once in a while. Haven't drawn much lately but I drew a picture of my wife and I at our wedding and I am proud of it. I built a frame for it and had a piece of glass cut for it and hung it over our bed. She likes it haha.

Here's a fun project I do with the kids, try it out. It's a project called shattered values.

Here's a slightly more complex version.
    Renee-Rober (1).jpg
    What do you see?
    • Draw an image as a line drawing in the center of the paper.
    • Then draw over and through that image with an abstract design.
    • Start in one area and work your way to the other side always using the same gradient from dark to light every time you come upon a new shape/section.
    • Your results should yield a black and white staiNed glass effect.
