The silver access cab with tonneau and steel wheels is an entry level model and looks great without the chrome Tacoma badge on doors and chrome grill surround. Much better looking than the giant black bumper cover and grill on previous generation entry model. Chrome won't get you home. Sometimes chrome adds a cobbled together appearance... like the black B-pillars. I like the appearance of fewer seams. The truck is an honest cheap entry model and owns it. Colorado and Canyon are cobbled together.

 

The best looking GMC trucks have mostly color matched grills.

your reading that link incorrectly. it goes Sport > OR (adds on top of sport) > Limited (which adds on top of sport/OR.

edit: I should change that to be Sport = OR > limited since the OR adds and deletes functions.

trust me the limited will have a PTS system.

 

and if you follow pricing scheme, it actually should be SR > SR5 > OR > Sport > Limited. each model adds on top except the OR version its just a SR5 that adds OR bits and deletes some luxury bits.

 

The interior pics clearly show a push button on the Limited.

 

Man that is pretty confusing. It seems like you are contradicting yourself. "Less than" faces the other way (<). And if you look at the leaked pricing sheet, the OR is just over $1K more. The PDF I posted here (All known 2016 Configuration Photos) regarding the comparison between the '15 and '16 OR shows it either adding to the Sport or replacing features on the Sport. So maybe you meant:

SR < SR5 < Sport < OR < Limited

 

SR -> SR5 -> Sport -> OR -> Limited

I wasn't using them in a mathematical sense, just directional sense.

 

This is another of DBAGs accounts. The Off Road costs more than the Sport and it does in the 2nd Gen line up as well

The Sport model is for people driving on the freeway. The OR is for people driving off road

yeah price wise the OR will cost more or be on par of a Sport, but your trading a few of creature comforts for the crawl control and OR bits and they will be making less of the OR than the Sport.

edit : wanted to add, they will sell more sports than OR since 70-80% of the buying public wont need the OR bits.
