Order Placed - Expecting early Oct. Delivery

Thanks. I'm a bit torn right now it looks like I can get everything(type-o in the last post) I want
excluding JBL. I'm just concerned without JBL it will sound like the 2011 I currently have which I think
is shit in both quality & volume. Got into the wife's VW EOS the other day and my max volume is about
what hers is at 1/5 the amount... unreal difference.

 

Waiting for a reply email back on what kind of security deposit they need to start the process. He sent me "window sticker" type sheets of a very similar option wise on what I"m buying but not 1 price on there yet but I was able to see all options and features and power but no mpg yet.

 

$500 security deposit, order has been placed and the wait has begun! Also nice is that the
deposit is refundable should I want to cancel the order, that I did not expect them to say.

 

Glad to see the tonneau cover is now an option. I have it on my current truck and it is a must have for me. Would love for someone to find dealer cost on this stuff

 

Yep, he offered it, it's just not something I've ever had a need for.

I'm hoping my weather tech floor liners will fit in the new one.

 

Checking today on what options are available to have leather put in.

 

Of course the deposit is refundable. In fact, if they were to say it wasn't refundable you should run like hell. Either way, if you don't want the truck when it gets on the lot, they know they will have no trouble selling it.

 

Once you have one, you will always want it. To be able to keep things locked up and DRY back there is a huge benefit. Then, if you need the bed open you can do that too. Great versatility.

 

Dealer has just sent my actual order sheets.

It seems that in this area for the package I ordered that the Tonneau cover is a standard
option, meaning I have to pay $650 for a cover I didn't want to order.

I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around people spending $30k+ on a vehicle they've never driven or even seen in person. I mean I'm like 99% sure I'm getting one and which package I'm probably getting, but 99% isn't enough for me to drop that kind of money on anything.

 

I don't think anyone has purchased one as of yet, everyone is putting a "refundable" deposit down - don't
like it, say no and walk, no strings. I have very little doubt I won't be buying it, I feel it will drive much like
my current 2011 only better, with more features and with more power. There is no downside to me, well
other than having to buy a Tonneau cover that I didn't want!

 

Oh, well that sounds reasonable. I would do it if I was dead-set on a color. I've gotta see them in person first. I plan on having this truck until one of us dies.

 

Believe me, it's making me nuts even going through this process! I'm set on the new truck
but haven't seen it in person much less driven it...crazy times man! That is my plan as well,
looking for a very, very long term vehicle and hoping this is it.

So does this mean October is when we can actually see them in dealerships? I thought it was September.

 

Dealers should see them early Sept. according to what I've been told. Most orders will be filled
sometime in Oct.

 

What's your build date?

 

I can't remember the exact date, pretty sure he said early Sept. and an early-mid Oct.
date for delivery.
