Verification. All the naysayers said the increase we saw in gas mileage was due to winter to summer blend change. I wanted proof for myself that it was not it.

It'll go back on in a few days when I have some time again for maintenance. I hope I have the bolts still... my tool box got shuffled a lot last weekend.

Got it. It's staying on my truck also. I don't recommend it to people to buy because if it doesn't work for them, then I get the "I told you so!""snake oil"

I've referred a buddy to the ecoblock and he says he's gained mpg's. I haven't bought one myself though.

It seems like it's a "hit or miss" type of thing.

Wonder if it works as well if you don't know it's there. Be interesting to install one in someones truck unknowingly for a month and see what difference it makes. I find sometimes if you do a mod to increase fuel economy you are more mindful of it while driving. Not saying that's the case here at all. Needs to be a test. 2 identical trucks. 1 with the spacer. Road trip. Swap drivers for the return trip. Calculate MPG's there and back. MPG gains or losses are way too subjective.

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
I'm happy with mine still. I change my truck too much and don't record mpg's consistently enough to give anyone here the hard numbers they want, but I can say that an improvement has been noticed. And for the ~$80CAD and 2 minutes it cost me, any little improvement pays itself off pretty quickly. Depending on terrain I see 0-10% better fuel economy (lowest difference at low speed on flat highway)

I wasn't mindful of it. I drive the same way no matter what vehicle I drive, which is never good for my fuel bill. But, taking it off after 4 months with it, I had a very noticeable decrease in mpg over 3 tanks of gas. 2 of those were all highway, and I lost easily 2mpg than previous trips with the eco block installed.

The only way to tell is to actually try it. It's been hit or miss with different people. Asking for results from people won't matter anyway because it might not work on your truck. That's why I wouldn't recommend that you get one. I tried it because it was cheap and worth a shot and I got lucky. If it didn't work I would uninstall it and return it.

Didn't they say money back if you didn't like it? The only risk being your time. Crawford even listened to members and made adjustements to the Eco Block, by way of a better fitting O-ring. Stand up, i say. Worth the risk I because of all of that, IMO.

I installed it on a friends truck that had no clue. Came back a couple weeks later asking what I did under the hood of her truck because her fuel mileage went up.

Very fast shipment of mine. Installed in no time. Am I supposed to use the o-ring taped to package or the one in the package? I tried stretching the other one on but it wouldn't stay in place to get the spacer on. Also...are we supposed to leave our engine cover off, or just bolt one side down tightly? The spacer raises the MAF sensor too high to get the nut back on for the engine cover.

I think I made it 20 pages in (Tapatalk) and about 10 pages from the last. I'll do some more digging. Thanks, cause I was hoping there would be some pics.

But the engine is free and maybe even runs .02f closer to kelvin. Do you show it to anyone? If not no worries.
