Same here. That roof is tougher than I thought.

Has anyone taken the deflector off to see if that helps with the noise? Or using weather stripping to close the gap?

I stuffed some sections of foam pipe insulation and a pool noodle under the fairing & it helped a bit with the noise.

Nothing for the Double Cab yet. I measured Box rockets truck and did the design but until someone local is willing to drill some holes in the roof so I can install one, it won't be happening.

Just picked up a set of roof Thule roof rack tracks for the shell from a local dude. He had a band new set for $70 and a used one with brand new end caps for $40, so I picked up the used one. It's in perfect condition.

Turns out my shell roof is reinforced or whatever, but I can't find any max load rating for it. Does anyone know? I have Leer 100XQ.

Also, these tracks came without mounting hardware, so I need to pick some up. Any suggestions on the bold length/size? Need something that wont put a hole in my skull later. Looking at the factory installed tracks, they have some king of flat bar under the roof carpet, for load distribution, I assume. Do I need to find one, or I should I just use 2" washers there and get it over with?

Ordered a cabrac and toprac earlier this week. Can't wait.....

One question getting ready to put Yakima base rail on canopy. As long as I stay about the same distance apart as the cab rail should I be okay? Does anyone know the exact width of the mounting holes? Are they slotted for variance? Thx

Yes. I asked Zach about it. That's what he said

However.... This does not compute.... my Leer 100XQ only has 41-1/2" from gutter to gutter, so I am not sure how this will work. I guess I will wait for the racks to come in and see. There is also cap roof reinforcement inside the shell, from gutter to gutter, so I would have to drill though that, which is not really a recommended thing to do....

I was hoping to do it before the rack came in just to hurry the mounting process. ;) But I may have to wait if no one chimes in that knows for sure.

On a side not I can take some pictures for you of my uninstalled Yakima kit and measure bolts to give you an idea of what you need.

Yeah I was going to install it before the racks came, but now I'll probably have to wait....

Here are some pictures of a part and tool list that may help. This is for a 52" (I'm cutting it down). Bolts are 1 1/8". Could get away with shorter ones if you didn't want to buy the end caps. I personally would just cut the excess bolt flush to the nut.

Sweet! Thanks. Looks like I can purchase a set of bolts and cap nuts here for $15. May have to purchase 2 sets because I have 8 holes in each track and this kit only has 12 bolts/nuts/washers

Large fender washers should be fine for the tracks. Both of my shells have had those and been fine. As for the bolt length, it really is going to depend on the thickness of the roof of the canopy I would get a couple sizes to test in the right range and decide on the best length.

What do you mean from gutter to gutter?

I don't know if I used a right word.... i think they are gutters? Basically the topper roof is not completely flat/smooth from side to side, but has these raised ridges on each side with 41-1/2" between them. But they do line up with the outside edges of cab weather stripping where roof racks go

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Quick question for all you who have ordered...

Do you have the driver side rubber trim piece I can have? Pretty please? Mine fell off somewhere....
