It was a toss up between the terra trac dt and st maxxs. But given the amount of reviews the maxxs just had alot of happy people and the terra trac wasn't as popular of a tire.

Not yet just stock but in the snow these tires I feel will go through anything well over a foot of snow unplowed didn't have a problem. Havent needed to go through any mud yet. But highway isn't bad some noise and doesn't feel unstable. l'll try and get some pics of the side view for you.

Nice man! That's the kinda 'tude my truck be needin'!

Your truck still handle acceleration and highway speeds no problem? These tires are only about 1.25 inches taller than stock, I'm hoping it doesn't make a huge difference in drivability.

yea drives better than the stock dunlops for sure. Maybe if your into highspeed hard cornering might not be the tire size for you but I have never felt unsafe at all.

Good looking RC man, and I saw a set of the ST Maxx tires on a Taco at the dealer the other day and really liked the tread pattern.

Time for me to do some research!

Just ordered a set of Toyo Open Country ATIIs. They had a good deal on treaddepot.com with free shipping. These tires have gotten great reviews for years. I believe they're 43 lbs a piece, not too bad. Can't wait to see em in person!

Please post pics when you get them on,

I want to replace my new Dunlops bad, but have to be wise with the amount I spend.

I have even thought about just going General Grabber AT2 in 265/70/R16 because they are under 140
each however Generals seem to weigh a lot. They are heavier than your 235s.

I paid $588 for four. Shipping is free on select Toyos for now. I had my heart set on st maxxs but i saved about $140 with the Toyos.
