Wow, haha. Thanks for the quote anyways.
It's doable, but you're going to be using different misalignment spacers to compensate for the off kilter heim. Kind of a pita. But do able.

    ...too much shit to list.

It's doable if the arms on the upper are parallel. If they aren't, no amount of misalignment will help unless you don't want the heim to be adjustable or you want to change out misalignments every time you adjust the heim.
First and second gen TC, and first gen burg kits all do NOT have parallel arms.

Anybody with 2.5x8 King Coilovers Cap over "short version" and standard coilovers get me a measurement for me?
Looking for measurement from the Center of upper bolt to end of the body "end of the cap" not the shocks extended length. And if possible a seperate measurement of center of lower rod end bolt to top of rod end.

    Thank you.

Can someone post which studs I should replace the stock ones with? I made the mistake of using american tire gorilla lugs and have stripped the shit out of the studs and american tire stripped like 3-4 of them too. What brand, size, and length since im running spacers and does kar tek carry them or anywhere local

I have been using Gorilla lugs for 7 years with no problem, I bet your problem is that they ordered the wrong thread pitch, you need 1.5 and I bet they gave you 1.25 which will strip out in a heartbeat on a 1.5 stud.

    Thanks!

I'll get them from summit then, I wasnt expecting them to be that expensive either!

I wouldnt be surprised, I never stripped any studs or lugs with gorillas on my other truck but the shop has stripped at least 6 of the studs and im sick of dealing with it. New studs and lugs are needed.

Just so you know those Lexus studs from ARP are much longer than the OE studs so unless you cut them down you will not be able to run a locking style capped lug nut.

Thanks for the heads up, so everyone running arp studs is using open ended lug nuts? Or some people are just running stock length arps in order to run capped lug nuts?

There are no stock length ARP's that fit our trucks unless you cut them down but I just looked around on that Amazon link and saw open ended locking lugs...problem solved if you want locking lugs.

Just for reference the OE studs are 1.5" and the ARP Lexus stud is 2.5"

Thanks for the help, I guess I would either cut them down or have open ended locking lugs, I just dont like the way they look as much

Jeff are you repairing a wadded up double cab, or converting yours to double cab/similar? ... Johnalagna (sp?) I believed mentioned it was cheaper to get the skin directly from Toyota to replace his cab than the price of a used cab at any wrecking yards...

Changing cabs completely. Now I'll probably just buy a high mile DC for 7-8 rather than a cab for almost 4....

    Stuff and junk and things...

I looked into this briefly to swap my extra cab, very pricey. Your best bet is to find a cheap 4 cyl prerunner DC and swap the parts and sell the rest. I couldn't find a cab at a junkyard here in CO.

I just searched CL and didn't find anything near me for less than 10K
